AI is reshaping how organizations work. What once depended on rigid systems of record is shifting toward living, intelligent models of how teams actually operate. This manifesto outlines that shift - from records to context to intelligence - and the role of AI teammates in making it real.
The shift
AI is transforming individual productivity - automating repetitive tasks and surfacing answers instantly. But as the easy work is handled by machines, what matters most is creative thinking, problem-solving, and alignment across teams.
The future won’t be shaped by solo productivity tools, but by how well humans and AI teammates work together.

For decades, organizations have run on Systems of Record, built in the 0–1–0 era of software:
Storage was scarce.
Data had to be strictly structured.
Systems were designed for human comprehension, not machine intelligence.
Humans adapted to the system - and the system only knew what it was told.
From records to intelligence
Now, storage is abundant, context windows are expanding, and AI agents can process complex, interconnected data at scale.
The systems organizations run on will evolve:
System of Record - captures what’s explicitly entered.
System of Context - captures all organizational context, structured and unstructured, into the Organizational Graph.
System of Intelligence - reasons, interprets, and acts from that graph to improve decision-making, coordination, and adaptability.
At the center is the Organizational Graph - a living model of people, work, relationships, knowledge, and norms, constantly updated by your AI teammate working alongside the team.
