Team Collaboration
Palette helps your team reflect on how well you’re working together - not just what you’re working on.

Through regular check-ins and smart analysis, Palette builds a picture of your team’s collaboration health across five areas: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.
The goal isn’t to judge. It’s to surface what’s working, highlight where things might be slipping, and support meaningful conversations over time.
What it is
The Team Collaboration capability is powered by Palette’s Team Pulse workflow.
It gives your team a structured, lightweight way to reflect on:
How people feel about psychological safety and trust
Whether healthy debate is encouraged
How clear and committed the team is on shared goals
Whether accountability is felt and shared
How focused the team is on collective results
Each check-in generates a Collaboration Report with a team score, a breakdown across the five areas, and qualitative insights from your team’s responses.
Why it matters
High-performing teams don’t just have smart people - they collaborate well.
But collaboration challenges are often invisible until it’s too late.
Palette helps you:
Spot patterns in how the team is functioning
Catch misalignment or team drift early
Strengthen key dynamics like trust and accountability
Support better conversations during retros, 1:1s, or team planning
How it works
The team receives a short, recurring check-in
Palette asks questions mapped to the five collaboration factors
Answers are scored anonymously and turned into a clear visual report
Palette summarizes what’s working and what could use attention
You can deep-dive into each factor for more detailed feedback
The check-in is quick to answer, and the results help guide better habits and conversations.
Where it shows up
Team Pulse summary - Overall score, breakdown, and key insights
Deep dive views - Detailed feedback per category (trust, conflict, etc.)
In Slack - Palette can share results in a shared channel and follow up in DMs to nudge action
In 1:1s and planning - Palette uses this context to suggest priorities, prep points, or follow-up topics
What Palette does with it
Summarizes your team’s collaboration health
Tracks trends over time and flags when scores shift
Suggests prompts to explore during 1:1s or team meetings
Tailors nudges and feedback suggestions based on your current team profile
Prompts to try
Ask Palette directly:
“How’s our collaboration trending?”
“Which area is our biggest strength right now?”
“Where are we slipping compared to last month?”
“What’s our trust score?”
“What should I bring up in the next team retro?”
