Connect Palette to ChatGPT

ChatGPT doesn't support MCP connectors natively, so connecting Palette is a manual process using Projects.

Setup

1. In Palette, go to your Context page. Click Copy all as markdown to copy your full org context.
2. In ChatGPT, click Customize in the left sidebar.
3. Create or open a Project (e.g., "Work" or "My Company").
4. Click the + next to Files, then choose Upload from device. Save the copied markdown as context.md and upload it. (Or use "Add text content" and paste directly.)
5. Click the + next to Instructions, and add something like:

You have access to our company context from Palette, a living document covering our organization, teams, and ways of working. Refer to it when answering questions about our company, team structure, priorities, or colleagues.

6. Click Save instructions.

Limitation

This is a snapshot, not a live connection. The context file won't update automatically. You'll need to re-export and re-upload when your org context changes significantly.
