We raised a €3M pre-seed to build the OS for AI-native teams
Ugly Duckling Ventures led our round, with participation from Emblem, Acadian Ventures, and a group of angels. Here's why we raised it and what comes next.
Every company wants to become AI-native. The tempting place to start is with whichever model is best right now. But "best" keeps changing as new models get faster, cheaper, and more capable.
We think the durable layer should belong to the company: its context, workflows, files, decisions, and know-how. Models should remain easy to swap.

We started Palette last year to help teams become high-performing. While building the company, we found ourselves using agents for almost everything, far beyond engineering. We moved faster, but kept re-explaining our work. What one person learned with an agent rarely helped anyone else. We needed new tools.
So we built Palette Desktop.
A shared place for your team and agents to work
Palette Desktop is live for Mac today, with Windows coming soon. It lets you work with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Mistral, Palette, and other supported agents on your own files and folders. Choose the agent that fits the task, work in a separate session, and review changes before they save back.
When we showed it to our design partners, they asked if they could use it too.
What we're building towards
This funding lets us bring Palette Desktop to more teams, grow our team here in Copenhagen, and keep building Palette OS as the foundation for AI-native teams.
It brings together a living context library that stays current, shared skills that work across agents, connections to company tools, and handoffs between AI sessions. These parts are already live with selected design partners, and we will keep building closely with them.
