Monthly recap: September 2026
While you blinked twice, we shipped a redesign, self-updating sessions, sound notifications for when the agent needs you, and agent reasoning in plain English.
More room for your work
Introducing a simplified Palette Desktop experience that makes room for what matters most: your work. In the rebuilt chat box, you choose permissions, see the connectors, and you can pick the provider, model, and effort level per chat. A new prominent Save button now sits in the right corner, and the redesigned sidebar is built around your sessions, so you know where to focus next.
What else is new
Sessions update automatically
Your sessions now update themselves when someone makes changes to your shared workspace. No more working from outdated context.
A sound when it's your turn
Palette plays a sound when the agent finishes or needs your input. You don't have to watch a chat anymore, but can stay focused elsewhere until you're needed.
Understand every agent move
Every step the agent takes is now described in plain English, so you can actually understand it. The reasoning stays folded away until you want the details.
How Palette uses Palette
We run Palette on Palette. Each month, one of us shows how. First up: Silja and her weekly release system:

"Every week, one slash command turns what we shipped into all our agent & customer comms: docs, the changelog, customer Slack messages, and LinkedIn posts for the hero releases. It also matches each release to the customers who asked for it, then hands off leads and prospects to Luca and customers to Kaspar-Jon. One rule it can't break: Only drafts, no sends. Nothing goes out without Silja in the loop."
Out and about
Agentic GTM: Scale Your Business with AI
On 24 September, we teamed up with Milo AI, Brew and Zero to talk about agentic GTM. Philip Sørensen from Brew talked about agentic email marketing, Silja showed the system powering Palette's weekly releases, and Philip Ziegler from Zero demoed their powerful, agentic CRM.

Famous last words
"I keep catching myself about to message a colleague and thinking, no, why waste their time? I'll ask Palette, and it's often a better and faster answer."
