✨ New Features
Slack quality of life updates 😌
With our upgraded integration layer in place, we took our attention to Slack and made a few quality of life upgrades:
Picking a Slack channel for Weekly Priorities updates will now make Palette auto-join that channel. Previously you could miss your summary if you didn't invite Palette yourself.
Palette will now show a "is thinking" as it's generating your response when used through Slack.
Palette will now automatically update the thread titles in Slack (similar to our web app) to make it easier for you to navigate your conversations.
Integrations, integrations, integrations 🔋
Integrations is and will be a big part of Palette's offering and because of that, we invested some time in making it ready for scale. We're now ready to add more and different type of integrations. Google Calendar that is tied to the user? Not a problem. Slack that is tied to a team but with a subtle shared underlying OAuth team if you use the same workspace? Not a problem anymore. Linear that is tied to a team? Not a problem. Want to share integrations across team in your organization? Not a problem if we decide to enable that in the UI.
In other words, we're ready for what's coming in terms of integrations 🤘
🛠️ Under the Hood
We've simplified how we're dealing with prompts coming from Langfuse to ensure we can test, deploy and monitor prompts in a fast and reliable manner.
We've greatly improved our config system allowing us to enable integrations/workflows/agents on a user/team/organization/enterprise basis. This allows us to gradually roll out new features with selected users and teams.
We've upgraded Nango to use their new TypeScript syntax opposed to yaml files.
🐛 Bug Fixes
We experienced some downtime related to connection pooling on our agents as well as an exponentially growing database. That has now been corrected and the uptime has been improved.
🎨 On another note
We held our 2nd edition of Palette & Friends with a focus on AI Agents. Great turnout, great conversations and great feedback on our product 🙏
Christian, Lars and Steffen went to TechBBQ (the biggest startup event in Denmark) to meet potential investors, peers and candidates. Lars also moderated a panel operation operationalizing AI in organizations.
Steffen went to Paris to attend the P9 CTO event where 100 CTOs from across Europe were invited. Also he managed to spend some time with the Emblem portfolio.
Brian is taking a well-deserved vacation and is driving around Europe in his camper 🏕️
